  • Payment debited from your account but transaction not completed on our end

3.2 Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe a donation was made without your authorization, you must report it immediately with supporting documentation.

3.3 Payment Gateway Errors

Payment processed multiple times for a single donation attempt due to Razorpay or banking system error.

4. How to Request a Refund

4.1 Time Limit: Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the donation transaction.

4.2 Required Information: To request a refund, you must provide:

  • Transaction ID / Receipt number
  • Date and amount of donation
  • Payment method used
  • Detailed reason for refund request
  • Proof of payment (screenshot, bank statement, receipt)

5. Refund Processing

5.1 Review Period: All refund requests will be reviewed within 7-10 business days of receipt. We may contact you for additional information or clarification.

5.3 Processing Time: If approved, refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days and credited to the original payment method used for the donation.

5.4 Bank Processing: Please note that the actual time for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider (typically 5-7 business days after processing).

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind or donor's remorse after making a donation
  • Disagreement with how the trust utilizes donations
  • Personal financial difficulties experienced by the donor
  • Donations made more than 48 hours prior to the refund request
  • Incomplete or insufficient documentation provided
  • Recurring donations where the donor agreed to monthly contributions

7. Cancellation Policy

7.1 One-Time Donations: One-time donations cannot be cancelled once the payment is successfully processed.

7.2 Recurring Donations: If you have set up a recurring donation, you may cancel future donations at any time by contacting us via email or phone. Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle.

7.3 Child Sponsorship: If you have committed to child sponsorship, you may cancel your commitment by providing 30 days' written notice. Past donations are non-refundable.

8. Donation Receipts and Refunds

If a refund is approved and processed, any donation receipt issued for the refunded donation will be invalidated. Please keep this in mind when maintaining your donation records.

9. Payment Gateway Issues

All online payments are processed through Razorpay. For issues related to payment processing, failed transactions, or payment disputes, please contact Razorpay customer support in addition to contacting us. We will cooperate fully with payment gateway investigations.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our decision regarding your refund request, you may escalate the matter by sending a detailed written complaint to our registered office address. We will review all escalations and provide a final decision within 15 business days.
